Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American actor and comedian, is often referred to as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. After emigrating to America she was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as an actress in her early years as a child. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 to 2016 - and in 2020 - have earned her acclaim. The commercials she appeared in were not her only activity she did. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). She also starred in an ongoing role as a character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub has also been voiced as Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was cast as Squirrel Girl in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and is a Jew. Her parents and her fled antisemitism when she was two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. Due to financial hardships within the family, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub was a student at Beverly Hills High School briefly however she quit in her sophomore year. Then, she earned the GED, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. As part of the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied the art of improv comedy.
